The United States has a new generation of golden heroes. Jack Hughes scored at the 1:41 mark of overtime to propel Team USA to a 2-1 victory over Team Canada, winning the Olympic gold medal for the first time in 46 years. Off a pass from Zach Werenski, Hughes shot the puck through the sliding five-hole of Jordan Binnington to send the American bench into a frenzy, pouring onto the ice in celebration.

The Men's Olympic Hockey Quarterfinal Round dazzled and entertained the hockey world on Wednesday. Spectacular play, comebacks, and overtime thrillers brought the fans of four teams to their feet, and drew the angst of those on the losing side.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are very much a presence in Milan, Italy, this Olympic season. With nine players representing eight countries, the Bolts' fans have been treated to some great hockey as the NHL season takes a pause for the international tournament.
